Pat D. Dixon, III (“PD3”) is the Managing Partner and Principal of Dixon & Dixon Attorneys at Law, LLC, a trial-focused law firm based in Atlanta, Georgia. He is an experienced litigator known for his courtroom advocacy and strategic approach to complex legal disputes.

Mr. Dixon represents individuals, businesses, and municipalities in high-stakes matters, including complex commercial litigation, personal injury, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death cases. He has extensive experience handling cases from initial filing through trial, regularly appearing before judges and juries across Georgia’s state and federal courts. Through his work, he has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of Georgia families in complex tort and wrongful death matters.

Prior to co-founding Dixon & Dixon, Mr. Dixon operated a successful solo practice focusing on criminal defense and intellectual property law — experience that sharpened his trial skills and provides him with a well-rounded perspective when advocating for clients facing complex legal challenges.

Outside of his practice, Mr. Dixon is a devoted husband and father. He is married to Dr. Ashlee’ P. Dixon, a psychologist in private practice, and they have one son, Pat D. Dixon, IV.

Mr. Dixon has built his career on a foundation of public service, private practice, and an unwavering commitment to his clients. Mr. Dixon began his legal career in the Office of General Counsel for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) in Washington, D.C., where he developed a rigorous approach to complex legal and regulatory matters.

Following his tenure with the NRC, he returned to Atlanta and spent almost 30 years in private practice — both as a law firm partner and sole practitioner — concentrating on civil trial litigation, including personal injury, real estate, and commercial disputes. Prior to co-founding Dixon & Dixon with his son, Attorney Pat D. Dixon, III, Mr. Dixon served for more than ten years in the Risk Management and Revenue Enhancement Division of the Office of the Fulton County Attorney, providing counsel on matters of significant public concern. He also served as General Counsel for CI Squared Aviation, Inc, an aerospace and information technology company, further broadening his expertise
across industries. His depth of experience across government, corporate, and private practice settings gives Mr. Dixon a uniquely comprehensive perspective — one that benefits every client the firm serves.

His distinguished record of public service further includes serving as a member of the Procurement Appeals Hearing Officers Board for the City of Atlanta, member of the Atlanta Housing Authority Board of Commissioner, an Attorney-Member of the City of Atlanta License Review Board, Judge Pro Hac Vice in the City Court of Atlanta, and Special Master in the Superior Court of Fulton County.
